Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her portrayal on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects through the years. A few of them include the British biographical film Control, the Greek drama film The Dust of Time, and the French historic miniseries Napoleon. Her other roles include being a jury member at two festivals: the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
