Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. In his first television appearances Evans portrayed characters such as Opposite and sex during 2000. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in movie versions of comics and graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). In several Marvel Cinematic Universe film, including Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2017) and Captain America: Civil War (2017) and in group films like The Avengers Age of Ultron (2017) Avengers: Infinity War Avengers: Infinity War(2018) and Endgame (2009) and Endgame (2009). His performance as Steve Rogers/Captain American gained him wider recognition. Because of his Marvel film work, he was one the most highly-paid actors in the world.
